Draught @ the brewery (Nov 2025). Opaque dark brown with a large foamy beige head, citrus-mocha aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter mocha-citrus peel taste with alcohol undertones, smooth thin body, long bitter finish. Tasty, more like a porter than an IPA.

Cheap can at chalet. Pour is lemon yellow pale and clear. Head fades immediately. Very nice real lemon nose. But hey, the first taste is dull lemon pledge, lemon furniture cleaning polish. A little difficult initially. Very dry and dull. No sweetness to speak of, typical lager fruit beer. Bitter back end in the middle. Quite arduous an challenging for a macro pale lager lover. Lots of ill mannered incivility. Carbonation is OK, but nothing special, could use more. In the end, if the aroma wasn't so good I'd have scored this 2 points lower, blah. Less than average fruit beer. Come on Paladin, you make much better tasting beers than this fruity letdown.

Can, from the brewery. Pours clear reddish brown-burnt umber color, small foamy beige head, faint grassy aroma, adequate carbonation, bitter malty taste, alcohol undertones, lighty piney, thin body, long bitter finish. A bit on the bitter side.

Cheap 2$ can pours virtually clear pale. No hint of raspberry in the color. However, there is a slight nose of berry hidden in the quite slaggy nose. First taste tells me this is simply a wheat ale. Lurking in the bitter wheat ale taste is some mild tartness and a tad of raspberry flavor. Must mention tho the wheat ale character is certainly forward and the raspberry is very laid back. From the label, I was expecting the opposite. Wheat ale develops more intensity thru the middle with pointed bitter provoking annoying vivaciously vexatious. Near the end its trying my patience, tiring irksome and nearly galling. like a sharped tongue rude ass fairy. Oh well, not nearly as good as I was expecting here Paladin. Decent label on the can tho!
