2$ can from chalet. Looks like a hefe, all creamy head and such. Aroma is a farmy concoction of milk and malt. First taste is rather disappointing, its not like a hefe but more like mild wheat ale and I can't really pick out the blood orange in this. Yes the bloody orange seems to initially missing from the nose and the taste buds. Has some co2, but could use more. Has an odd feel of milk in the middle. Overall, just not getting this brew. A good case of the cover being better than the book. On the finish, the wheat ale bitterness begins to rise.

I had a complete detailed review of this but when I submitted it, brewver lost the whole paragraph. Really pissed me off. Over all tho, just wanted to say this is a better than average vanilla brew. I don't like vanilla in my porter but this is well balanced and the vanilla is not in yer face. Pretty good beer session for a vanilla brew. I was quite surprised about the drink-ability of this beer. The porter in this is forward and well done, no real bitterness to speak of, just a good solid civilized flavor.

Can, pour is totally clear pale. Nose is mostly neutral, but perhaps there is a tad of nut on top of fresh beer olfactory. No head. Yea, this starts off as a mello cream ale, pretty much on style. Good flavor. No offensive character in this. The nuts tend to come thru in the middle, but its never in yer face. Has a sort of creamy feel to it, and I wonder if that's because of the nuts. Good level of co2. On the finish you'd never know there was pistachio in this unless you knew it, then you'd say; oh yea, I think I taste it. The nutty thing is very nuanced with the pistachio. I bet this would be a good brew without the nuts in it as well. Good level of co2, clear to the end.
