16oz can pours a murky, burnt gold with some lacey white head. Nose is old school brewpub IPA, malt and pine, some soap, some dried citrus. Lightly vegetal. Flavor is chewy with malt, a bit muted, dried citrus, some potpourri, dried grass, some pine. Off dry finish. Forgettable.

Tap at source. Big and black. Thin tan head. Fine attractive toasty roasty dark beer nose. Very nice taste on the uptake, yes one of my favorite styles and this does not disappoint. Civilized, good flavor. Great old burnt damp campfire wood without any bitterness. I'm really liking this stuff. Very good there helicon!

Tap at source. Orangish pale. Slight haze. Mild floral nose. Interesting and unique flavor. Some hay, some flowers, some honey. A little sweet but never cloying. Very friendly, goes down easy. Enjoyable, easy, refreshing. Some bitterness building in the middle, but overall a nice fun brew!

Had this on tap at the helicon in McDonald. Not as cloudy as a real hefe. Smell is on style bubblegum. First taste yields a good solid well behaved german hefe, quite nice and on style. Some processed feel near the middle. Good co2 level. Nice beer drinking experience.
