500 ml bottle. Dim, brown body with a small beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, spices and yeast. Flavor is definitively malt based, with caramel, spices and yeast. Not much bitter, quite ordinary and medium all the way, still a pleasant beer with a fine balance and good malt flavor.

Bottle, from trade with HenrikSoegaard. A quite clear beer, deep amber in color and with a small, beige head on top. Weak, slightly spiced nose with some caramel maltyness. Spiced, caramel flavor with a touch of anise. Medium to full body, nicely carbonated. The finish is pretty much like the initial flavor, the anise touch is the most interesting. Not much wrong here, but it’s a bit ordinary, in an unusual way. Rating: 5-3-6-4-13-3.1. 100814

Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. It’s slightly hazy in the glass, deep amber in color, and with a beige head of moderate size. Spiced nose with a sourish touch. Caramel and a hint of roasted malts too. Caramel malts, some spices, hay, a sourish touch and some alcohol. The finish has a little licorice hint, and a pleasant bitterness. Quite carbonated, full body. A decent one, but a bit sourish. Better fresh maybe. 101112
