Copper with a lasting off-white head. Heavy cookie spice aroma with cinnamon in particular. Sweet spicy and malty flavour with a slightly bitter finish that could just as well come from cinnamon.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a lovely, hazy purple with a lacing, pinkish head. Nose has some vanilla indeed, subtle cherry but also a fatty note of what seems like diacetyl. Medium body, quite tart or even sour cherries making this a bit of a challenge here. Personally I would've loved some more sweetness, not to make it a sweet beer but a more welcoming beer. 291020

ABV: 7.5%. Clear medium to dark red colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - pink head. Aroma is moderate malty, cherry, almonds, marzipan. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, cherry puree - cherry syrup, almonds, cherry stones, medium dry, vanilla sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20201010]
