Bottle, 7.5%. Sweet liquorice aroma. Black colour with a fairly stable light brown head. The flavour is very roasted and quite bitter with a distinct raw liquorice note and a pinch of salt, smoke, and tar in the finish. Reminds me a little of Limfjordsporter.

Bottle, 6.0%. Mild aroma of dark caramel. Hazy chestnut colour. Small frothy off-white head. The flavour is caramelly with a spicy hop note. Perhaps a little smoke. Malty and caramelly aftertaste. Fairly low bitterness. Good mouthfeel, and fitting for the ABV.

Bottle 283/888, shared with Zhenya and the Ukrainians and Drinkoteka. Enormous thanks HP for sending it! Seems I might have had the last bottle in the world - I guess some people didn't fully appreciate it, particularly the guy who chugged it from the bottle, hah! Anyway. Black body with almost no head. Yeasty aroma, oxidized, licorice, alcohol, some dried figs, pretty dry maltiness and yeah, more alcohol - but actually quite pleasant overall for the ABV. Dry, bit smokey taste, licorice, carob, dried figs, light and lean, slightly watery body, and still lovely, ending slightly bitterish. Fairly unique, really glad to have tried it!
