Bottle 500ml. @ home on the terrace.Clear medium yellow - amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, spicy - cinnamon, dusty, wood notes. Flavour is moderate sweet, light light acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, grape - wine tart, berry, sweet malt, dry, white wine. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Aroma is moderate to light heavy artificial berries - US blueberry. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, artificial blueberry. Not sure if I concur with the Spice/herb/vegetable category, tastes like a Belgian ale with a little extra flavoring of chestnuts. Looks and smells like a Belgian (maybe Biere de garde), additional nutty taste. Dry finish, but overall, pretty good.

Nice witbier. Sharp and tangy, hazy golden with small creamy head. Sweet and sour nose , taste has a snappy bite, some citrus, hint of lemongrass.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy amber with hardly any head. Tart lactic acid in the nose. Medium body, a little initial caramel - and then a massive infection. Quite horrible. 060413
