Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a finger and a half's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark roasted malts, a touch of dark fruits then a big punch of piney/resinous hops; light coffee bitterness and piney bitterness nip at my nose pretty nicely
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas together in that great bitter punch of any Black IPA/CDA will then allows a good roasty to sturdy sweet character to intertwine very nicely; long finish of the bitterness, roastiness and sweetness of the hops and coffee tones
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper; some smoothness but also enough bitterness to tell me this is a Black IPA/CDA as the hops clamp down on my tongue along with some roasty features
Overall: sometimes I ask myself where did all the Black IPA's go but then again, I also have to ask myself where did all the craft brewers go and with that I have to say RIP to Collaborative as this was my last beer by them and I will surely miss this brewer.
When they say the good die young then I guess so do the really good breweries.

Aroma: sweet oats, rich coffee sweetness, some coffee roastiness, milk chocolate and a little touch of vanilla far down in there
Flavor: fairly sweet through the prior noted aromas but a substantial roasty tone down in there trying to balance; finishes chocolatey, sweet oaty and a touch of sweet vanilla
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; pretty smooth along the tongue as the roastiness subsides into oblivion
Overall: a very nicely done oatmeal stout I would have loved to come back to.

Appearance: dark brown close to black with a three finger khaki foamy head which took it's time to dissipate then leave some light lace.
Aroma: sweet and roasty tones of coffee, dark malts, light whiffs of chocolate, some maple syrup and some doughy features
Flavor: moderately sweet with a sly roasty underneath through the prior noted aromas; finishes doughy, chocolatey and maple-y
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; very smooth along the tongue
Overall: a beer that I thought was going to be cloying but turned out it was very well balanced and somewhat fairly decadent at times.

Appearance: dark red in color with a thin bar pour's kind of slim white foamy head which slid off nicely. Barely any lace.
Aroma: subtle roasty notes, herbal scents, some biscuits, light grassy/earthy hops and touch of caramel/toffee malts
Flavor: brings the prior noted aromas together to a fine earthy to grassy sweet tone; mild finish of herbal/earthy/grassy qualities
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; fairly clean and smooth along the tongue
Overall: pretty good Irish red ale I'd have again and the second one of these went well with my Philly cheese steak that day.

Aroma: sweet coffee notes, roasted coffee notes, subtle grassy hops and a touch of biscuity malts down in there
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together fairly nice to a mild sweet to roasty and light malty quality; mild finish of coffee and malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; fairly smooth along the tongue
Overall: prety nicely done coffee lager, I'd have again if Collaborative was still in business and brewing this.

Aroma: caramel/toffee malts, clean toasted nuts, some sweet earthy scents, some grassy hops and light woody tones
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas together fairly malty sweet with a semi-rich nuttiness to it; mild finish od malts and nuts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, pretty smooth along the tongue
Overall: I'd say a pretty good O-fest leaning towards the Marzen side I'd have again if Collaborative was still open.

Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a crisp sweet to spicy and floral bitter quality; finishes very rye-like and floral
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness but also some rye sharpness does hit the tongue as I expected it to
Overall: I really liked this rye pale ale, it really hit the spot.

Appearance: dark brown in the pour but closer to black in the glass with a two finger eggshell white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: rich dark malts, cocoa powder/baker's chocolate, toasted nuts, sweet char and a touch of maple syrup
Flavor: takes the prior noted aromas to blend roasty and toasty at first but with more sips, it opens up to a slight sweetness, finishes dark roasty with that super light hint of maple
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness but not too much as some of the roasty to char tones are a bit invasive to the tongue
Overall: for the most part this is quite the dark lager, it wants to be balanced but seems like it's just a shy bit short.

500 ml bottle. Thank you Adam! Crystal clear golden color. Aroma reminds me of Christmas; spice, rosemary, and Tyme. The spice is forward without question. Light body with a mild lingering herb finish.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up in the USA. Pours lightly hazed honey-gold with a foamy white head that settles into a cream. Tasty if a bit basic, with some wheaty biscuits, light lemon rind bitterness, pale bread. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Finishes with further biscuity notes, some lemon meringue, nips of straw. Enjoyable.
