Bottle. Rich bright yellow color, completely cloudy, good snow-white foam. Aroma: floral-herbaceous hops, light spice from hops and yeast, malt, wet grain, a little basement. Taste: malt, yeast, well hopped, pleasant, drinkable.

Klar bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Geruchlich malzig, leicht hopfig, schwach fruchtig. Geschmacklich malzig, leicht hopfig, leicht getreidig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Edit 11/2022. Malty and coconut (!) aroma. Brilliant gold body; white head. Malty, metal, glucose sirup. Bad and artificially-tasted lager. 0,5 l, can, supermarket, Vienna. # 832; 8/2017. Velmi nevýrazný, nepříliš dobrý ležák. Středně plný, jemně sladový, kořenitý. 3-2-3-2-7=*1,7

Bereits einige Male getrunken, aber bis jetzt bin ich nicht dazugekommen, es zu bewerten. Es ist mir primär in guter Erinnerung, da ich es als Einstiegsbier bei meiner 30er-Feier hatte. Zu SIlvester 2019 bekomme ich es wieder auf einem Ballschiff auf der Donau. Es mag keine besondere Spezialität sein, aber doch ein ordentliches Bier mit schön ausgewogenen Hofen und Malz-Aromen. Es ist etwas weniger bitter als manch andere Industrie-Pils, aber dafür angenehm süffig. Ein wirklich empfehlenswertes BIer von Schwechater.

On tap at the Schwechater Pub in Vienna. Miejsce ktore znalazlem przypadkowo w poszukiwaniu innego lokalu. Warto bylo wdepnac, Zwickel byl ale w wersji swiatecznej, Sezonowej. Chyba jeden z bardziej nachmielonych kozlakow jakie mialem przyjemnosc degustowac. Piana spora trwala, bardzo, bardzo metnista. Aromat chmielno-zbozowy, w smaku cala paleta zbozowosci, trawiastosc i chmielnosc. Warto dla uzupelnienia kalori po bieganiu z plecakiem niemal po calym Wiedniu.

Pours clear blonde. Small white head, rather low carbonation. Smell is malty ( maltsyrup, not as real or fresh as hoped). Taste is bit bitter, very maltsyrup, sticky sweet, cloying and arteficial like ending. Sure, previous ratings weren't great and neither will this one be, but the truth is, this is indeed drinkable, much like other industrial lager types beer around the world. But if you actually want to drink for taste, enjoyment, etc... You'd be best selecting another one.

Can. Soft grassy, malty flavor, also a very soft grassy hopbitterness. Not unpleasant, but not very flavorful.

Clear straw yellow, tall soapy head. Average retention. Aroma: grains, straw, distant dusty hop. Light to medium body. Lively carbonation. Taste: grains, bread, light minerals, hop. Light bitterness. Mediocre.

Can. Amber color with white head. Caramel, oxidation, DMS in aroma. taste, caramel malt, oxidation, rotten vegetable. Bad.

0.5 at a restaurant in Vienna, very cloudy, nice head. Light spicy grain aroma. Full mouth feel, pleasant bitterness, backed up by grassy grainy goodness.
