Can. Clear, sparkling and pale golden beer with a small white head. Flavor is mostly hay, but very weak. Grainy flavor with some unpleasant hops. Even some radler-like notes. Thin and watery body and a dusty and light hoppy finish. (060326)

Light gold colour. Grainy, slightly grassy, pissy aroma. Quick, fizzy with a bit of mineral water character to it. Faint grain, maybe malt. A bit thick. Very sweet for style. Bland finish.

Can. Pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is hay and grass. Flavor has the same elements, along with some malt and hops. Thin, watery beer, designed as a refresher more than a decent beer. Drinkable, but nothing to search for. (060224)

Can. Pale golden-yellow with a nice white head. Light malty aroma with some hops and hay. Flavor is light malty, and the finish is light too, just a hint of bitterness. Thin body. (060227)

2005 bottle purchased from Julio’s (kept in cooler) and consumed on 2/14/06. Burnished copper backdrop amid a bright maize-golden body, with a multitude of medium-large sized bubbles rising quickly to create an initially moderate white head that is not retained, diminishing immediately to ring with no trace of anything left on the glass. The nose shows a touch of light vanilla, dry bittering hops, seltzer water (carbonic acid) and light cornmeal. Clean water, no yeast apparency in the nose and only really the vanilla is notable as a slight flaw. The flavor begins with light malt sweetness (honey, light dough) and a hint of corn, quite real and authentic, though I have no idea what type of corn is used. It doesnt taste like corn syrup, anyhow. No hop flavor, some very brief interludes of bitterness and a well integrated carbonation provide for an extremely refreshing, drinkable session beer. Nearly flawless, with the above mentioned sweet corn flavor done quite tastefully. Some bits of crisp yeast on end, but fleeting. Watery, of course, but nothing out of style, with no alcohol apparency. Carbonation is not sharp.
Here are some things I didn’t find in this beer:
tinny aroma, hella crappy taste, boiled cardboard, salty quality, corn syrupy taste, wheat and vegetables, sweet dough and banana, cheap hair tonic, stale pond water, bland metallic tinge, peaches, gasoline, smoke flavor, sourish malt aroma, soapy, harsh and chemical.
I will make sure to look for those next time I have this. . . . .

Bottled. Jet black beer with brown head. Aroma is coffee and roasted malts. Flavor is quite sweet, with roasted taste of coffee and dark chocolate. An unidentified and unpleasant element in the flavor makes a 6 instead of a 7. Medium to full body. (051104)

Test vom 21.11.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,7,11,6,12,7 - 7,70
