Pours deep brown with ruby highlights. Two finger tall ivory-coloured head of decent retention. Aroma: toast, bread, treacle, nuts. Light body. Soft carbonation. Taste: medium dry. Bready, slightly roasted, nutty, hoppy. Light to medium bitterness. It tastes better than it smells.

Bottle at 4.0% ABV. Clear gold. Moderate white head of average retention. Aroma: cereals, bread, tomato paste. The body is fairly light. Taste: mostly malts, watery, some metal. Low hopping. At least some bitterness in aftertaste. Not great, this one.

Dark brown color. Bottle @ the skilift in Lermoos. Indifferent slightly malty aroma with a hint of chocolate. Malty sweet flavor with chichory, caramel and chocolate. Tastes a bit like a Dutch oud bruin with more alcohol.

Tap, café on the Austrian/German border. A soft grainy aroma. Grainy, hopbitterflowery flavor, even a bit cologne-like. Flowery, just a bit buttery. Not really A-class.

Clear deep brown with a large and long-living ivory head. Aroma: toasted malts, raw water, dried fruit, light treacle. Medium minus body. Taste: medium sweet, malty, burnt sugar, toast, burnt bread crust. Low to light bitterness. Not entirely pure and too sweet in my opinion.
