Cask @ GBBF 2006. Pours a golden colour with a small white head. Fruity aroma with some hints of citrus. Fruity malty flavor with hints of citrus. Dry bitter finish.

Cask at Merton Beer Festival, Oxfordshire, July 7th and 8th 2006. Golden coloured nicely bitter beer that was a bit on the dry side, hops came through well in this beer and like the Wolf Best Bitter also tried this is a very good session ale that I rather enjoyed.

Cask gravity at Notts BF 05. Golden beer with no head. Diacetyl destroys it. Buttery everywhere. Finish has some hop but the diacetyl dominates

Cask gravity at Notts BF 05. Black beer with no head. Quite a hoppy nose for a mild. Good in mouth with choc/coffee kicking in. Good enough mild.

Cask @ GBBF Pale gold, creamy light hop nose, good summer beer, hoppyish finish bit of citruic fruit. At least this stands out a bit from the other blond hoppy citrusy summer beers.

[Cask at GBBF 2004] A hazy orange beer with a huge white head. The aroma is flowery and yeasty, while the flavor is sweet floral with a bitter end.

On tap at the Oakdale Arms Beer Fest, Feb. 21 2005. Golden ale with a light white head. Pils like taste with rather german hops. More like a cask conditionned czech pils. OK, but nothing special.
