Hazy brown in colour with a very thin white head. Not what i'd expect an IPA to look like, but lets move on. Some hops in the aroma-but mostly vinegar. Medium-bodied; Hoppy up front with nothing following in the taste at all. Aftertaste has hop bitterness and once again, very one-dimensional. Overall, not a great IPA, but worth trying if you care for the style. I had this on draught at the brewpub in Rochester, New York on 13-March-2004.

Dark brown with a nice light brown head. Aroma strictly containing chocolate and coffee. Medium-bodied; Roasty flavours throughout mostly consisting of an oatmeal and coffee presence. Aftertaste is sweet and bittered at the same time, a nice complexity! Overall, an all around good oatmeal, and a nice first beer to try at a new Rochester BrewPub! I had this on draught at the brewpub in Rochester, New York on 13-March-2004.
