About
The Oslo was the start of Galway Bay Brewery and remains our flagship pub based in Salthill; our owners Jason O’Connell and Niall Walsh added a brewery on site in 2009, making The Oslo one of the country’s first brew pubs. Since then Galway Bay Brewery has expanded operations to 11 bars based in Galway and Dublin and have grown and re-positioned the Brewery just outside of Galway in Oranmore. We now produce four core beers along with a plethora of rotational beers that are released throughout the year.

With the installation of our new brew house we are turning our focus towards exporting and making our beers available in the UK and Europe

Tap at Borefts 2017. Bit hazy dark brown with small light brown head. Roasted notes, coffee, dark cocoa, ash, minerals. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with a bit dry roasted finish.

Tap at Borefts 2017 day 1. Almost clear golden with white head. Lots of grassy German hops, pils malts, soft dry grainy notes, melon, soft dust. Under medium sweet and bitter. Under medum bodied with crisp feel. Not bad.
