Gravicask, half-pint, shared with Finn at The National Winter Ales Festival. Close to clear golden body. Naked at the top. Smell of minerals and mild citrus. Blended taste of dried and fresh apricot joined by pale malts. Moderate bitter ending. Very average (Manchester, 24.01.2013).

Gravity cask at the Snooty Fox, London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a faint, white foam head. Tangy citrus aroma, some pee. Light to medium sweet flavor, some lemon and tangerine, pale and doughy biscuits, faint dry grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Good condition. Light lemony citrus finish, mellow tang, fresh pee and other citrus. Very sessionable stuff.

Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a clear golden brown with a bubbly white tan head. The aroma is weak but malty leading to a strong bitter flavour with bags of malt with a nice bitter palate and lingering bitter aftertaste. A nice hop combo that delivers a great tasting traditional English bitter.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, light apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, malty, dusty, apple notes, chlorine notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 13/10/12. Slightly hazed dark golden with a thin off white head that soon clears. Sweet malt nose, a little toffee and some spice. Tastes of toffee, a little biscuity, some nuttiness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, bitter finish. File under ’W’ - inoffensive but boring.
