Cask handpull at Ship & Mitre BF, Liverpool. Very pale gold, thin off white head. Not much of a beer really, not much in mouth, some citrusy hop on the finish. Lemony on finish. OK, but could do with more character.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 13/4/08. The pump clip might attract legal action from Disney. Pale amber in colour with a slight head that managed to l;eave plenty of lacing. Aroma of caramel and red fruit with some grassy hops. Slightly watery mouth feel with plenty of malt in the flavour and a short bitter finish. Ok.

Cask, Sweet Green Tavern, Bolton. Golden yellow, fruity, christmas cake aroma. Flavour is too overpoweringly ginger for my taste, but if ginger is your thing, then this has obvious appeal.

Cask (handpump) @ New Oxford, Manchester M4, UK. Clear dark brown color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, fruity / berry. Flavor is light to moderate sweet, light light acidic and light bitter with a average to short duration. Body is lightto medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. (200108)

Cask at GBBF 2007. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of grass. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of grass.

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 1 Dec 2007) Dark brown colour with ruby hints, brief beige head. Slightly roasted, malty nose with dark fruit and faint traces of raw fish. Malty taste with notes of dark fruit, dried figs and wild berries. Decent mild, but lacking something extra.

Cask conditoned at Pig’s Ear 2007. Very deep red, lasting beige head. Yeasty aroma, a bit like Oxo cubes. Some decent malts, some earthy hop on end.

Cask @ GBBF 2007. Pours a plae yellow color with a large white head. Fruity malty and spicy ginger aroma. Fruity anf malty spicy flavor with hints of ginger. Fruity finish with a spicy citrus aftertaste.

(Cask at GBBF, London, 8 Aug 2007) Golden yellow colour with greenish tinges, brief head. Fruity nose with citrus and distinctly spicy notes of ginger. Fruity, spicy taste with citrus and ginger. Rather sweet, not very bitter. Interesting, spicy beer.
