Description
Founded 1997 by Claude Berri, Gérard Depardieu, Renaud, and Miou-Miou after making the film Germinal in Valenciennes. The brewery was called Brasserie des Amis Réunis, and located in a former slaughterhouse. It became the Brasserie de Saint-Amand-les-Eaux in 2002. In 2005, after a closure due to liquidation, the brewery was taken over by Jean-luc Robert Butez (owner of International Breweries and Beers), and opened again under the name of Brasserie des Sources.

Clear deep golden colour, good frothy off-white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma malty, fruity, bit yeasty, orange peel, lemon, citrus hops, soap. Taste medium sweet, light bitterness, citrus. Medium body, oily to creamy texture, lively carbonation, smooth bittersweet finish, citrus lingers on. Lovely fresh beer.

Piwo slodowe dosc mocno, moze i dla mnie zbyt mocno. Piana ok, ale niezbyt trwala, biala i puszysta. Metnawe i pomaranczowo zolte. Ma w smaku do zaoferowania mirabelki, morele iraz cala garsc cukierkow i landrynkow. Pijalne ale efekt gumy balonowej zbyt dominujacy.

Bottle at Town Street Tavern, Horsforth. Pours clear gold, thick white head. Aromas of white pepper, yeast, orange. Taste is kinda saison-y, but with a touch more hop bite, Nice enough.

Clear golden colour. Thin head. Yeasty aroma with some sweet banana esters. Quite a strong malt flavour in this one. Also some yeast. Texture is a little bit buttery.

Clear golden, big and fluffy white head. Aroma has yeast, straw. Flavour is malty with light yeast and a little citrus. Straightforward and refreshing.
