Bottle, 7% at KØ10. Mild flowery fruit aroma. Hazy light amber colour. Small white head. Good sweet spicy flavour, a little wheaty. Quite clean for a Belgian ale.

Bottle, 7%. The label says génevriers (juniper), not lingonberry. Rough aroma, sweet and sourish. Cloudy yellow colour with small chunks floating about. Small stable white head. The flavour starts off sweet with some straw notes. Quite citric, a little sour. OK fruitiness, but not a really good combination. 5 3 5 3 9

Found in a 330ml bottle somewhere near Paris. Pours with a very nice head, okay foggy brown colour, lots of carbonation, some sediment. Hey, it’s interesting at least, after a few dozen boring pale lagers I can’t complain. Aroma is hops and coriander, slight alcohol buzz, but very much on the lighter side of the spectrum. Taste is very light, champagne-like, lots of hops as well as caramel, cinnamon, some kind of Christmas spices seem to ease through. This one’s interesting, and worth trying. Unique and not too bad, but feels like a "seasonal" beer.

75 cl bottle purchased in Nice. Slightly dark blonde with an orange tint. Not much head. Sweet, fruity aroma, slight berry scent. Yeast and hops as well. Sweet at first, and fruity (juniper), but turns more bitter and hoppy. Medium body and carbonation. Finish of alcohol, bitter hops, and an underlying malty sweetness. Long bitter and hot taste remains. Much dryer and bitterer than other beers of this type, which I like, but there is something strange about it. Some berry-like fruitiness from the junipers. A good beer, a little strange. Something is not quite perfect in the balance, but otherwise, a good, interesting brew.

75 cl bottle from a supermarket in Paris. Orange-amber color. Very light aroma and flavor, but interesting. Good barnyard flavor, but a delicate amber flavor, plus a bit of sweetness in the Belgian ale manner. Very nice indeed, better than average in this style. Basically a bit sweeter and maltier than others I have had in this style, which, together with decent hopping and the typical barnyard taste, gave it a very nice balance and a lot of interest.
