Bottled. Cloudy golden, lively head. Strong aroma and flavour of pears in syrup with marzipan(!?) Sweet and rounded with low bitterness. A very interesting dessert beer.

[At Jyske Øldage 2004, Kolding] A hazy dark yellow beer with a small head. The aroma is sweet spicy with coriander standing out. The flavor is sweet malty and spicy again with coriander being the most dominant. The mouthfeel is flat.

[At Jyske Øldage 2004, Kolding] A hazy pale amber beer with an OK head. The aroma is sweet and like dishwashing water. The flavor is malty with notes of caramel on a sour background - is it the use of brewing cereal or just the type, that makes it sour. I’m very disappointed.

Yellow, even pinkish, very dense head; reddish, very cloudy amber beer. Fruity, impression of cherries, and fine-spicey nose (garden herbs). Sweet taste, dark, but again sweeter malts, sweet biscuit, cardemoms and a bit of cinnamon. medium-bodied, very clear, crisp mouthfeel. Alcohol comes out in the aftertaste. Nice, cake-like beer, finely spiced, nowhere overwrought. Good winter ale!

Fully trouble, orange-yellow beer; good white head, fast retreating. Very fruity nose, both own (spices) and the hops - good! Underlying aroma is from cookie malt. No maderisation discernible, though beer 4 years old. Some fruity taste, grapefruit without the bitterness. Oatmeal, grain, muestli, but not dry. Nice, better when colder. Well-bodied, slich mouthfeel. Aftertaste is rather sweet. Fine, nice beer, very aromatic, sweeter than Belgian triple, but more refined than most Bière de Gardes.

[Mine is only 6.5% ABV] The aroma is very sweet and fruity with notes of yeast. The color is an unclear pink/orange with a beutiful lasting white head. The flavor is sweet fruity with strong notes of lemon and yeast running prickling across the tongue. It ends on a yeasty note that turns dry. An interesting and good beer.
