Draught at Prague Beer Museum on June 5, 2011As "Black Miner Starkladenske 13 Tmavy Lezak"Almost black color, some brown and red hints, light brown head. Acidic, some sweetness, roasted taste. Acidic and roasted aftertaste. Mainly acidic scent. Low/thin mouthfeel, low bitterness.Fairly sure the beer served is not as it should, I complained but got to hear back from the staff at this pub that this is what it was supposed to taste like, so OK, I’ll enter the rating and hope to be able to rerate at another pub sometime in the future.

Draught: Literally black and presumably hazy, smaller fluffy tanned head; caramel, roasted malt and a whiff of coffee in the nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, soft, relatively light bodied; lingering roasty and coffeeish finish with a balancing malty bitterness in the very end. Well made, untypical Dunkel......

Tapped: Amber coloured, a bit unclear, firm creamy off-white head; fruity-bitter nose (apples with well hidden hops); moderate bitter-sweet flavour, relatively light bodied; lingering bitter-malty finish. Not bad, but relively flat.....

Tapped: Golden, hazy, big stable off-white head; citrussy aromas in the solid piney-hoppy nose; robust dryish bitter-sweet flavour, soft and relatively light bodied; increasing fruitiness - again - towards the bitter-malty finish. A real goody, no doubt.....
