Description
United Dutch Breweries in Breda was created when the Belgian Interbrew closed the Breda Oranjeboom brewery in 2004, which it had taken over in 1995. Oranjeboom's export department carried out a management buy-out and continued independently with Oranjeboom's brand portfolio, which was acquired from Interbrew. The beers are not brewed anymore in Breda but elsewhere.

500ml can. * sigh * I have no words for this. Smells and tastes like beerwaste. This stuff is holding me back to try the Atlas 12.

Canned. Golden colour with small white head, that disappears quite fast. Aroma is strong alcohol with sweet malts and also quite fruity notes. The flavour is rather sweet malts and tropical fruits/nectary with the alcohol giving a burning touch. Not that horrible.

0.25 l bottle from a shop in Jajce, Bosnia. Poured very pale yellow body with very small head. Sweetish malty aroma, some corn syrupy. Flavor isn’t any better, well, may be more pleasant, but watery, so boring and unimpressive it wasn’t even refreshing on that hot day. Fine, but of course boring finish. Really a dull one, but at that price (35 euro cents), and it was export there, you can’t expect better.
