33cl bottle. A summary - this beer was very yeast dominated in flavour. This led to the actual mouthfeel and general palate being fairly agreeable, though there was a distinct lack of discernible aromas and tasting notes. Solid but nothing to want you to try it again.

Tap at Ales and Tails Twickenham, 16/02/13. Listed as 4.0% ABV. Pale golden with a thin white head that retains well. Nose is pale malt, grain, barley, grass, light corn, mineral notes. Taste comprises pale malt, grass, light metallic tang, touch of citrus, barley. Medium bodied with light spritzy carbonation, touch of bitterness in a dryish finish. Drinkable, refreshing, whelming!

Keg at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours cloudy, orange-fold with a slight, filmy cream head. Nose carries a hefty dose of wheat, some yeasty bread, subtle ripening bananas. Light to medium sweet flavor with more wheaty bread, a bit of dry banana, slight herbs, touches of dry grass. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pretty clean to finish, light bitterness, moderate sweet, doughy wheat and dry bread, hints of yeast, ripe but dry fruits. A novel take on the hefe. Not too sweet, a touch more bitter than usual. Pretty nice, but it doesn’t have quite enough depth.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and rye, leading to a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

An unclear amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet and very wheaty. The flavor is sweet wheaty and dry hoppy - more like a wheat beer than a rye beer.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy golden with a tiny white head. Yeasty, bananaish aroma. Medium body, heavy yeast accents, vitamin notes, a slight tartness and a rather hoppy finish. 040213
