Clear golden beer, not very carbonated visually, under a good snowwhite head, leaving lace. Grainy, bit milky nose; slightly grassy & herbal. Dry; Herb pale malts taste with fine, non-bittering hops. Seems very attenuated, hardly a trace of restsugars. Lohg, more bitterish aftertaste. Light body, slick, well-carbonated feel. Quite good biolager.

Draught Very huge & very dense snowwhite head over fully lemon-yellow beer. Banana - and other fruitesters jumping out of the glass. Bit of lemon and a bit of wheat. Mild, again quite spicy (clove, mostly, but also others, if more discreet) flavours. Later, some citrus takes over, earthy. Light body, if lots of wheatslickness. DIscreet, but exactly therefore, nice. It’s not as typosyncratic as some.

Draught Good & dense, light greige head over very deep chestnut-red beer. Melanoidins, (dark) malts. Very dense head seriously hampers nasal perception. Sweet, very malty, maltcookes or wholemeal breakfast cerials, faintly ashes. Again, finish being drier. Light to medium body, quite slick. Dry aftertaste. Übliches Dunkel - but that means actually quite good.

Draught Hazy golden beer under a faintly fluffy head. Again quite malty nose, bit herb; faint yeast notes. Dry, hay-ish, herbal, Kräuterish, and, foremost, depth. Light body, faint slickness, feels better carbonated than it looks. Good Zwickel, makes the Pilsner ubiquitous.

Draught Quite dense, firm snowwhite head over clear golden beer. Really dry Pilsner malt, bit grassy, fresh green garden herbs. Quite malty-sweet flavours, ending slightly drier, hay, even a touch of white wine. Bit sticky MF, obviously quite some restsugars, light carbonation. Decent, but in no way outstanding Pilsner.

330ml bottle [catered by bartlebier, thank you very much!]. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Pale malty aroma with a minimally grainy and strawy as well as a sweet-ish biscuity touch, spicy grassy hoppy counterweight. Taste is mild bitter hoppy, slightly fruity and minimally grassy, hints of green apple, lemon, minimally sweet, pale malt support.

Tap at Atlantik in Freiburg. Clear golden with big white head, looks like milkshake... Light sweet malts with quite some fruits (peach and tropical fruits). Herbal, some nettles and herbal tea. Light to medium bitter finish. Ever so slight watery feel. Tasty pils, fresh, fruity and lots of aromatic hops. Lovely.

500ml bottle [Thanks to Melville’s scrivener in matters of beer]. Hazy dark brown colour with average, frothy, dark beige head. Dark malty aroma with a nuttily touch, slightly spicy, yeasty overtones, a herbal hoppy touch. Taste is dry, minimally tart, slightly herbal hoppy, cautiously dark malty with subtle sweetness and a nuttily touch, very cautious hints of orange and cinnamon; body is too light to make a stand against the lively carbonation.
