swing top bottle 330ml. -from Fristo Getränkemarkt Freiburg. Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, grainy nose. Hoppy, fruity, grainy, lightr floral and grassy with dry bitter finish.

330ml. bottle as part of the Ratebeer European Local Swap, many thanks @Beerhunter111 for this one. @home, 07/04/2022 [#4.765 Global - #408 Germany - #1 Schlossbrauerei Stöckle Schmieheim] Pours golden with a white head. Lot of grains coming through. Some lemon and cheese. Fizzy and dry mouthfeel. Next one please!

Schnapp-Fläschle (many thanks to the Lake!): Deep golden, hazy, stable and small white head, distinctive dry herbal-leafy nose with citrussy spots, presumably Münchener Malz underneath; moderate to solid dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, not too tart; lingering leafy-citrussy finish with a small amount of sweet malt. Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Fine hoppy aroma. Starts mild-malty, more and more hoppy, fresh fruity like lemon. Mild bitterness. Well balanced finish. Really nice!

12 September 2020. At Zur Alten Brauerei, Ettenheim. Shared with the lovely Anke! Hazy golden with a slowly diminishing, frothy, white head. Aroma of barnyard, farmland, cow fodder, yeast, apple peel, dust. Taste has sweet maltiness of apple peel yet mostly cow fodder & wort too, vaguely sourish & a bit spicy. Yeasty, malty, grainy finish. Light body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Doesn't really taste right. They served it as the 'Hieronymus Pils' but I think that's an error as it's effectively too dusty and 'Unfiltriert'.

bottle from Getränke Hauser Achern. Golden yellow, tall white head leaving lacework. Aroma of fresh hops. Elegant and shy malty background, lots of citrusy and slightly herbal hops with a touch of hay. LKingering bitter finish. Smooth on the palate. A wel balanced, fragrant and really pleasant beer. Very moreish.
