Pigs Ear, The Round Church, Hackney. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, bubbly white head. Palate is smooth and a little dry. Mild fine carbonation. Whisper of sulphur, nothing serious. Okay pale malt with juicy citrus. Little orange and orange marmalade. Whisper of lemon. Light dry finish. Not bad.

On gravity at Swindon Beer Festival, 24/10/2013. Amber in colour with a decent, off-white head. Big, slightly spicy malts, jammy, orange fruits and a touch of flinty minerals before a lingering, bitter finish. Enjoyable.

At the Three Daggers, Edington 23/8/2013. Deep amber in colour with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of hedgerow fruit, biscuity malts and some leafy hops. Easy dirnking, with a touch of caramel, solid malts, a hint of orange peel and lasting, bitter finish. Good.
