Bottled. Slightly hazy brown colour with a small off-white head, which vanishes quickly. Aroma is herbs, some lavender, mild aloe vera as well as some toasted notes. Flavour is caramel, mild nutty notes along with some aloe vera/lavender notes. Just like the blonde, main elements are there, but lacks something to push it forward and make it go out of the meh category.

330ml bottle, 5.0 % abv, bought at a Spar store next to Hotel Marina in Port de Sóller. Clear late straw coloured body, snow white head, blanketing the glass. Mid-dry aromas, grassy and lightly spiced. Rather subdued flavours herbal hops, grass, and yeast. Grassy endnotes, mid-dry. Accepted.

Zoet, beetje roosterig, beetje bruin brood. Redelijke body. Precies wat ik ervan had verwacht.

Bottle 33 cl. Deep brown with an orange hue and a creamy and lacing beige head. Nutty aroma, dark burned sugars and a hint of Belgian-style yeast. Rich, sweet dark dried fruits with only a hint of roast. Some sweet chocolate. Subte Belgian yeast notes. Clearly a Belgian Brown - not a Brown Ale. 070819
