Bottled. Clear, yellowish beer with a minimal white head. Some fruityness is all the nose can offer, and the flavor isn’t much better, but there’s some hops there as well. Thin body. A really boring beer. Not much aroma, not much flavor, not much of everything, except for boredom. (070302)

Bottled (BB 10/2007). Hazy dark amber red color, small creamy white head. Yeasty, caramelly and fruity nose. Thick syrapy mouthfeel. Yeasty, sweetish (molasses) fruity. Some spices (coriander) there too. In the finish alcohol is evident. Like many other Dutch ales, the extra sugar is dominating. Overall this is also quite yeasty.

Bottle 0,5l at The St Albans Beer Festival 29 Sep 06. Golden coloured. Unclear. A large creamy head. A lasting aroma of citrus. Very carbonated.

500ml bottle shared with Finn. Huge pale yellow foam over a pale orange body. Sweet wheat aroma. Citric flavour with cloves, ripe banana and coriander. High carbonation. Refreshing - but gives the impression of drinking limonade or a kind of soft drink (picked from the foreign beer list at The St Albans Beer Festival, 29.09.2006).

Bottled (BB 09/2007). Muddy, hazy dark ruby, big creamy tan head. Yeast, crisp dark fruits, roasted malts in the nose. A bit thin mouthfeel for a dobbelbock. Dark sugars, chocolate in the flavor. Sugary aftertaste with hints of metal.

Bottled (BB 06/2007). Hazy orange color, small firm head, lace. Fruity aroma of orange, apple and water melon. Like duff comments: this feels much more like a Belgian ale than a kölsch. Fruity (apples, some lemon), softly yeasty, some hops. Ok malt profile. Very nice.

Bottled (BB 07/2007). Hazy dark yellow, big white head. Nose is slightly sour, wheaty, some banana and leather. Very carbonated. Citrus, cloves, some banana in the flavor. Dry, citric witbier, lemony aftertaste. Palate could be more intensive, but overall I liked this Dutch microbrewery wit.

Bottled 0.75 ltr (BB 01/2007). Hazy very dark nut brown color, good off-white head. Nose has some sour notes, dark fruits and hazelnut. Sticky mouthfeel, sugary sweetness - thanks to added sugar. Flavor has some spices, nuts (maybe from chocolate malts) and plums. Warming and full. Propably evolves with time.
