Description
Appie was born out of a crazy idea: rediscover cider! It’s a fresh look on an underrated product. It’s the story of how 5 passionate old friends got together. It’s the elaboration of innovative cider recipes, imagined by passionate people who got tired of not finding ciders that suit them. It’s a new freshness, a move away from the classic trio made of galette, crêpe and a bowl of cider. The idea is to democratise drinks that are made of contemporary blends, while respecting French traditional know-how.

330mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry apples, with dry apples, light wild yeast, and crisp skins. Flavour is identical, with bone dry yeast, apple skins, and gentle sweetness. Not much complexity but it's pleasant.

330ml bottle from local Monoprix, Paris. Pours clear gold, small persistent bubbles atop. Aroma has some syrupy sweet perry pear. Light carbonation and quite light on the palate, mildly syrupy perry pear fruit, faint stickiness, quite accessible with a moderately sweet character, clean and balanced. Not bad entry level perry.
