Isle Of Wight Holiday Beer#3. Made it to Portsmouth, first beer here. Hazy deep golden, fair strength with some creamy-fruity notes to be enjoyed within. Orange provides light citrus.

Handpull cask at the Talbot, Ledbury. Dark gold and clear with a film of off-white head and some spotty lacing. Juicy orange, a bit of mango, brown bread on the nose. Sweet taste, good bitterness quickly on, some marmalade, kumquat, a touch of plum. Medium and slightly oily body, very little carbonation. Decent but not very memorable.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#11. POOLE. Not quite a folly but Brownsea Castle on Brownsea Island is a picturesque building within the natural harbour of Poole. Had this one not too far away on the mainland. Golden with a creamy head. Light but tasty pineapple, mango and lime. Easy enough session beer.

Keg at the Talbot, Stow On The Wold, 23/11/24. Golden blonde topped with a lasting white head. Nose is mellow citric peel, soft malts, light breads, melon. Taste comprises orange peel, pale malts, citric tinged straw, light floral whisper. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dashed with mellow hop bitterenss. Passable entry level craft affair.
