Our logo features the F4U Corsair airplane which is the Connecticut State Airplane and a great testament to the spirit of the state. Because we feel community is important, our company is highlighting some of the state’s great industries and adventure spots by featuring them on our cans. These people and places have not only inspired our own lives and the life of the brewery, but they also honor the places we’ve come to live, love and grow in. ABV: 6.6%. Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, pumpkin spices, cinnamon. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, caramel, dried fruit, pumpkin, pumpkin spices, cinnamon, clove. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Sample (thanks omhper!). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is raisins, some roasted tones with mild herbal and some grassy tones. Flavour is roasted, some herbal grassy and mild bready tones with some slight spiciness and wood. Mild smoky tones.
