The turning point came when Chad, inspired by his travels through craft beer scenes worldwide, decided to turn their family passion into a professional endeavor. With full support from Greg, Dillon, and their brother-in-law, Jimmy, the family set out to build their dream. After months of planning, experimenting, and overcoming challenges, Goldwater Brewing Co. officially opened its doors on May 1, 2015.
Their success stems from the combined strengths of each member: Greg’s business acumen, Chad’s brewing expertise, Dillon’s creative vision, and Jimmy’s operational skills. Together, they’ve built a brand known for quality, innovation, and community. As they continue to grow and introduce new, exciting beers, the family remains committed to their roots and the people who have supported them from the start.
Cheers to the future of fresh, local craft beer!

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a murky dull gold copper sort of apricot juice colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up mango, guava, cantaloupe and clementine like citrus hoppiness. The taste delivers smooth juicy soft mango and guava and cantaloupe heading into increasing levels of bitter grapefruit and juicy clementine citrus. This attains a pleasing balance of soft juiciness and citrus hop bitterness. There's zero sense of the ABV. Wow.

32oz crowler pours with a clear deep gold body that supports a full off white head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The aroma offers up lemon, lime, lime peel, earthy green shrubs and grapefruit. The taste delivers a juicy and mildly bitter array of lemon, lime and grapefruit heading into mildly sweet pale malts. It certainly conveys that green leafy earthiness and vaguely mint note that nod in the wet hop direction. Nice pale.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a clear gold body that supports a thin dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up a blend of floral, citrus and onion like dank hoppiness. The taste delivers smooth notes of bitter grapefruit and spicy dank onion flowing into a thin layer of floral hoppiness. Below the hop bitterness is a wafer thin layer of citrus hop like juiciness. Pretty nice. As it warms a bit there is a mildly distracting sweet bread ester note that is hard to overlook.
