Can. Just misted amber with a 2cm white head. Aroma of marmalade oranges, pine wood, light bread. Medium bodied. Nice taut bready malt. The fruit gets a little overpowered by the pine. Nice long bitter finish. Pretty good.

Smaskegod!

Can, Bottle Avenue, Ubud. Clear yellow golden, medium white head, ok lasting. Medium grassy nose, fresh feeling. Medium bitterness, grassy and drier. Lasting aftertaste. Light. Nice.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a slightly hazy pink colour with a thin broken off-white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is yeasty, floral, light lime. The flavour is moderate to light sour, with a light, watery, crisp, yeasty, lime citrus, light herbal palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation. As a “special” beer it was nothing special.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a crystal clear colour with a short-lived frothy white head, broken lace and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is grainy malt, light hops. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, slightly watery, mineral, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. None of the promised flavours came through.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a clear light yellow golden colour with a lasting frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is malt and yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a light, crisp, dry yeasty, light woody hop bitter palate. It’s all about the yeast which won’t be to everyone’s taste.

Draft at the brewery. Poured a mostly clear light amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malt and woody hops. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a crisp, malty, piney, herbal, big woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. An old skool English IPA! Really liked this.
