About
Founded in 2018, by Jasper Tupman and Stuart Winstone, who share a passion for foraging, fermentation and flavour. These two invested everything they had, to build their unique vision of carefully crafted beers with a strong sense of place.

Later joined by Dave Williams as Head Brewer and Lee Calnan as Sales Director, 2020 marked the next phase of development for a small team with big ambitions; to bring innovative, modern farmhouse brewing to a wider audience in the UK and beyond.

By brewing with the very best of local ingredients and alternative techniques that span between historic styles and modern brewing technology, our approach to mixed fermentation and barrel ageing puts the emphasis on balance of flavour and drinkability. Minimal intervention is the key to ensuring that there’s a little bit of nature in every sip.

Huge, very dense pink head over fully hazy pale terra cotta beer. Raspberry nose, with a bit 'milky'/diary extra; lactic acid, but mildly so. Again obviously raspberry, very fruity character. Again a light diary touch, raspberry yoghurt, if thinner. Faint light green leaves. Light body obviously, but quite fruitslick. Well-carbonated. Not bad, even if I miss a bit minerality, and it is not really refreshing as a Gose ought to be.

Keg at Mikkeller Exmouth Market Brew Pub, 10/05/24. Red topped with a crimson cap. Nose is sweet cherries, light cocoa dusting, sugars, berry pips. Taste comprises cherry stones, chocolate, jammy berry fruits, straw, lactic tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light sour edge. There's some nutters on the quick ratings tab dishing out high scores to this. Used to quite like Yonder sours but seems they are going down the pastry route following VC but not pulling it off as well! Passable affair.

Keg at Mikkeller Exmouth Market Brew Pub, 10/05/24. Smurf blood blue topped with a white cap that retains well. Nose is sweet blueberry puree, bubblegum, sugars, all sweet sweet sweet. Taste comprises more bubblegum and blueberry tones, all very sweet and 1D, sugars, lactic tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest puckering kiss. Looks fun ... hard to drink ... just way too sweet.
