Bottle at Scopello, Sicily, 5th June 17. Pours clear and golden. Aroma is aromatic, citrus. Taste is aromatic, sweet and some bitterness, perfume. Lovely stuff.

Bottle at Masseria Susafa, Sicily, 29th May 17. Pours black, with a tan head. Aroma is dark chocolate, cocoa, liquorice, coffee, roasted malts. Taste is rich, chocolate, cocoa, bitter hops, liquorice, roasted malts. Dry and not overlly sweet, great stout from a little village in Sicily, amazing.

750ml bottle at Masseria Susafa, Sicily, 29th May 17. Pours clear, light straw colour. Aroma is fresh, light citrus, some yeast. Taste is clean, citrus, floral, some pine resin, yeast, well balanced and delicious, quite hoppy saison.

Bottle at Masseria Susafa, 29th May 17. Pours a slightly hazy straw colour. Aroma is light lemon blossom, citrus peel. Taste is floral, light citrus, perfume, refreshing, fairly complex. Very nice, and a unexpected treat in this remote hotel !

Bottle at Masseria Susafa, 29th May 17. Surprised that there was a small craft beer menu at our remote mountain destination, but pleased🏌. This was detailed at 6.8% ABV. Pours copper, nice head. Aroma is malt, caramel, grass. Taste is caramel, malt and grain, sweet and sticky, some bitterness, dry finish then lingering sweetness. Not bad.
