On tap at Catalina, pours a deep dark cloudy mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out figs, caramel and toffee. Flavour is messed up, with detergent, digs and caramel. All sorts of off-notes here. Needs serious work.

On tap at Catalina, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out metallic notes, crunchy dry hopping and seltzery notes. Flavour is herbal in the hop department, with biscuity malt and astringent metallic notes. Not feeling this - messy and lacking any clarity.

On tap at Catalina, pours a cloudy dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light mesquite and a touch of honey. Flavour brings out some spicy smokiness, toffee and bready sweet malt. Not especially deep or refined, but it works for what it is.

On tap at Catalina, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out light banana and clove. Flavour is along the same lines, with some astringent metallic notes, clove and a touch of banana. Too metallic and astringent. Not a huge fan.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a slightly hazy deep gold body that supports an off white head. The aroma offers up grassy hops, tangerine, some resiny pine and a light malt sensation toward the end of the draw. The taste delivers grapefruit and tangerine like hop bitterness ringed thinly by citrus juiciness. It stays juicy and bitter right into the finish. Nice session beer.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a murky deep copper body that supports a thin off white head. The modest aroma offers up earthy grassy hops and sweet hop fruitiness blended with a thin biscuit malt note. The taste delivers some malts, spicy earthy and mint hop bitterness and then some grassy hops mixed with a slight fruity estery sweetness. To midway the hops and malts merge with a earthy grassy note that’s both bitter and sweet. Behind those notes is a biscuit sort of maltiness.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits and opaque deep copper body that supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers grassy hops, biscuit like malts and a touch of roasted malts. The taste delivers grainy malts, biscuit malts, a molasses note and then modest grassy to floral hoppy bitterness. It warms nicely into the finish where the malts and hops really come together creating a pleasing sipping experience.
