0,33 flaske fra polet i Valkendorfsgaten, i solveggen hos Håkon mai-20: uklar kobbergylden med fint skum som varte helt til solnedgang. Solid og myk maltkropp, deilige kryddertoner fra kveiken blander seg godt med innslag av kanel, ingefær og et forsiktig hint av anis. Et nydelig juleøl velegnet til symptombehandling året rundt.

Bottle. Unclear golden body with a nice, dense off-white head. Aroma has malt and fennel. Pleasant taste, sweet pale malt, balanced spicy, fruity some yeast. Complex and balanced in taste, alcohol well hidden, balanced body and long-lasting aftertaste. Interesting and nice beer.

ABV: 7.5%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, husks - chaff (avner), light to moderate yeast, kveik, juniper - wood. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, husks - chaff (avner), grain, pale malt, yeast, oak - juniper notes, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. 330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Sentrum Tromsø. Off-white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Bright amber coloured body. Spiced malty aromas, hints of dried fruits. Fine blended taste character of mid-sweet malts, cinnamon, apricot and spruce, a twist of kveik far behind. Ends mid-sweet malt-fruity. Soft on the swallow. Quite likable, robust sipper.
