Growler thanks to my buddy Chris: Growler thanks to my buddy Chris: Poured a coppery orange with bubble head. Aroma is super dill pickle, spice. Taste is dill pickle, tartness, light saltiness.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 07/04/24. Extremely dark mahogany brown approaching light black topped with a khaki head that thins to a swirl and edging. Nose is dark malts, molasses, burnt toffee, hint of bourbon, roasted tones, dried fruit esters. Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, light herb, little booze trace, molasses, fruit cake mix, spice, dark malts, dates, figs, light bourbon tickle. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with just a touch of boost offered. Decent enough easy drinking sipper if perhaps a touch overly oaked.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 07/04/24. Almost clear deep golden pour with a white cap that fizzed edgewards and leaves some spotting atop. Nose is pencil wood, herb, gherkin notes, damp straw. Taste comprises tangy pickle bite, salty edge, herb, grains, balsa wood, lemon rind, gherkin dribble, damp cloth. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest puckering salt infused edge. Passable affair ... couldn't drink much of this.
