Description
The beer is made primarily from organic Breton barley, with the hops used for bitterness and flavorings produced mainly in Bignan (56).

Everything has been certified organic since 2012. It also carries the "natural park values" label.

From earth to glass, this is the story of the beer from the Rhuys Peninsula. It is on this piece of Brittany, which resembles a dragon, that P'tite Mamm is brewed. The encounter between barley and hops takes place in our brewery in Surzur.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours brown with a vague, orange hue and a creamy and lacing, beige head. Vague roasty nose. Medium body, a little watery perhaps, roasty, some slight peat with an iodine touch - and ammonia. Kinda rough and aggressive little beer. 041019

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, pale, milky yellow with a lacing, white head. Nose is mainly yeasty. Light body, yeasty, chalky, minerally with some fairly nasty phenols making this mostly a chemical mess. Not much pleasure to be found in this one. 110819

Bottle 33 cl. Slow gusher. Pours a clear golden with a small, white head. Fruity, tart aroma. Medium body, fruity with a clearly tart edge as in a lurking infection. However, in this case it actually adds a somewhat interesting touch to an otherwise very generic blond. One of those lucky infections. Heavy carbonation, dry finish. 110819

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear, reddish amber with a rich, lacing, off-white head. Comes gushing - a slow, steady gusher. Kind of an amazing aroma, overripe fruit and balsamico. Medium body, nuts and caramel notes - but dry. There's an earthy astringency and a tart suggestion hinting at an infection. But it's not unpleasant, it's in the territory of Belgian Flemish Browns - although I doubt it was the intention. One of those lucky shots! 080719
