From bottle at 7e Noordelijk Lentebierenfestival, Leeuwarden. Aroma is brown malt with caramel, yeasty and spicy notes, some brown sugar. Ontbijtkoek. Sweet, but also fairly bitter for the style. Body is medium. Not bad at all.

Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Sweet with an aroma of caramel, malt, strong spicy notes, yeast, candy sugar. Sugary and spicy Tripel, okay-ish, medium body. Not very memorable or how I like my Tripel.

Pours a light hazy golden colour and a frothy white head with little retention. Aroma's: malty swetish, light herbal, fruity. Retronasal it's sweetish, light fruit. Flavour is above moderate sweet (caramel malt) and light bitter. Light bodied. Finish is light bitter, herbs.
