Sampled from the tap at Aces & Ales. Pours near black with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet dark grains and roast with a bit of chocolate underlying. Flavor has sweet dark grains with some lactose and a roasted malt note supporting.

On tap @Beer Zombies. Closing too early for me. Half hazy, oily orange, sort of still pour. Orange oil, juicy, acidy nose. Sharply sour, astringent, oily tangerine, prickly & lingering clean heat. Earthy rind finish with just a bit of sweetness. Liked this.

Malmö team tasting at Palace Hall, Malmö, Sweden (15/04/2023) - new 🇺🇸 brewery ✅ big sweet malty action with lots of caramel and toffee, fudge, sweet chocolate laced, full bodied, sweet malty lacto infused lingering finish. Nice sample but probably too much to sink a tin of this for me. --- Beer merged from original tick of Grandma's Original on 27 Mar 2025 at 05:37 - Score: 7. On tap @Yard House Vegas. Short pour. Clear, medium gold, frothy head. Mellow grapefruit & dry yeasty bitterness on the nose. Itchy, long pine note, turning pithy white grapefruit. Calcium, itchy rye, strong for 6+%. Okay.
