Description
Welcome to Tūn Brewing Company, where great beer meets creativity, craftsmanship, and purpose. Founded in Manchester by Richard Alston, Tūn Brewing Company is the result of years of passion, perseverance, and a desire to bring a new perspective to the UK’s drinking culture.

Tūn Brewing Company operates under a contract brewing model to bring you exceptional beers without compromise. Richard develops every beer recipe at home using his pilot brewing kit, ensuring that each brew reflects his vision and creativity. These recipes are then scaled up and commercialised with the help of a trusted partner brewery. You can rest assured that every pint is distinctly his creation, crafted with purpose and passion, not just a generic recipe handed over to a brewery. We are ambitious and seek to create a space of our own soon, where people can productively enjoy our beer, connecting with people, local businesses, and the arts while being connected to the process of making beer.

440ml can from Everyman's. New MCR brewery for me. Hazed orange appearance, good white head. Really vibrant exotic character.. quite sweet, big hoppy aroma.. pineapple and stonefruit galore with a pithy bitter close.

Can. Bright clear gold beer, small bubbly whitish head. Light palate, a little dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a whisper of natural grain, which works for this brew. A very mild lager tang. Hop delivery is a delight. Lovely lovely Lemondrop brings bright lemon and mild floral lemon and a little ripe lemon. Saaz and Sapphire bring soft pine and a little spice and only a little bitter spice. Light smooth finish. The biggest mystery, to me, in craft brewing, is why more brewers don't use this hop. A well brewed dipa with this hop would be stunning.

Keg at the Pelican, Gloucester, 04/04/2025.
Murky orange topped with an off white that thins to a swirl.
Nose is bitter orange, grass, straw, pine nibble.
Taste comprises melon, grass, light mineral bite, citric tinged straw.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness.
Okay offering if a bit heavy on the minerality.
Didn't expect to pick up a new MCR brewery tick in Gloucs!
