Bottle. Black. Soft roast and a hint of salt in the aroma. Malty sweetish flavor with hints of roast and Sea salt. Caramel. Low on carbon. Quite pleasant.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ W. van Schaik, Vianen. Hazy light golden with lots of floaties and a white head. Peppery aroma with some wheat and citrus. Taste is rather sweet for a saison and the finish is likewise. Meh.

Bottle shared at Anti-Carnavalstasting 2019. Clear amber color, average sized off-white head. Aroma and flavor are lightly malty, pretty sweet, odd. Sweetish like warm dark cherries or so. Odd. Meh. 5

Geproefd met dank aan Benzai. Donkerbruin bier met matig schuim. Aroma is licht chocolade en koffieachtig. De smaak is houtig en hooiachtig met ook een beetje chocolade. Weinig nasmaak.

Anti-Carnaval Tasting 2019 @ Benzai’s Gallic fortress of resistance. Bottle. Clear brown with light tan head. Sweet malts, dry leaves, sour nutty wood. Moderate sweet and bitter, light sour. Medium body and slightly overcarbonated.

Draught @ UBF shared with Caesar and ShivanDragon. Hazy yellow golden color, small white head. Aroma is quite nicely hoppy, floral. Taste malts, slightly hops, quite watery, slightly bitter. Oh well, not too bad, although flavor is not up to par with the aroma.
