Bottle at home, opaque dark ruby beer, small head. Aroma is wood, oak, vinous, fruit, bourbon. Taste is the same, quite vinous, tart, wood, oak, malt, some fruit, quite a heavy bourbon aftertaste. Not bad but the aftertaste is quite tart dry that lingers on.

Bottle from Jumbo in Arnhem. Color: Dark ruby to copper, beige head. Aroma: Malty, caramel, hints of dark dried fruit. Taste: Malty, caramel notes, bread, hints of nuts and dark dried fruit. Quite thin, just under medium body. Just under average carbonation. Moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Tasting like beer a home brewer would have made using a standard beer brewing kit. In fact, Ive had home brews that were better than this. Drinkable but nothing more than that. Mwah.

Bottle, 7.2%. Ok fruity aroma with a sweetish maltiness. Hazy light golden colour. Big stable rocky white head. The flavour is quite bitter and not as sweet as the aroma suggests. Quite dry, actually, with a fairly astringent bitterness.

Bottle, 6.9%. caramelly and oxidised aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Very big rocky off-white head. The flavour is caramelly with a touch of banana. Tastes like pretty standard Bernsteinweizen to me even though this one has a fair bit more alcohol.

Bottle, 7.2%. The aroma starts off citric, but turns out to be more rustic with faint hay and barnyard notes. Hazy golden colour. The head is white and very big. Falls down slowly to a rocky white head. The flavour is yeasty and vinous at first. Later it becomes quite bitter with a slightly spicy maltiness. Still yeasty in the finish.

Bottle, 9.6%. Weak vinous aroma. Dark chestnut colour. Seems clear. Small off-white head. The flavour is vinous, nutty at first. Then bready and roasted. Very thin mouthfeel for the style and ABV. Dryish caramel finish.
