Description
Terramar is an award-winning brewery, distillery, and cidery that pays tribute to the fertile farmlands of Skagit Valley by crafting terroir-driven beer, spirits, and ciders. While we do have a small rotation of core beers, our tap list is always changing, a reflection of local seasonal ingredients and our desire to explore and highlight the many different flavors that Skagit Valley has to offer. We brew our beer from barley grown and craft-malted in Washington. Our cider apples are sourced from a couple towns over at Cedardale Farms. Berries and botanicals, and a few hops come from Skagit and Whatcom farms. Our beers range from PNW takes on traditional and historical styles, Belgian or Farmhouse styles to barrel-aged mixed fermentations.

Light amber colour. No head. Weedy El Dorado and I7 hop nose. On the palate, an off-dry finish with biscuity malt, medium bitterness, and again a weed/onion hop note in the finish.

Slight haze, pale. Dank af aroma, sage, linalool, on the palate it’s balanced with a little biscuity malt and an off-dry woody hop note in the finish. Not as bright on the palate as the nose, but still good.

Bright pale pink. Thin head. Clean raspberry character, almost vinous in expression, like pinot noir, with a creamy and wheaty body and refreshing acidity in the finish.

Pale amber, no head. Bretty aroma. Lots of bugs on the palate, pedio, maybe brett c, sweetish palate that veers towards ropeyness. It ends up okay, but definitely not dialled in.

Very pale, tart, almost cucumber vibe. Wheaty, a touch saline. I’m guessing that’s the kelp, not cucumber, it’s definitely forward.

Slightly sticky, banana-accented aroma. Sticky on the palate, some wheat notes but maybe a bit too much tartness.

Amber, chill haze. Piney, good biscuity sort of malt character, slight fruitiness. Medium bitterness and full body. This is quite good.

On tap at WABF 2024, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is chalky as hell, with lots of fumes, hopburn and a touch of stone fruit pith. Flavour is gritty, with lots of gritty grains, tons of bitterness, and massive chalk. This is very incompetent.
