Description
Terramar is an award-winning brewery, distillery, and cidery that pays tribute to the fertile farmlands of Skagit Valley by crafting terroir-driven beer, spirits, and ciders. While we do have a small rotation of core beers, our tap list is always changing, a reflection of local seasonal ingredients and our desire to explore and highlight the many different flavors that Skagit Valley has to offer. We brew our beer from barley grown and craft-malted in Washington. Our cider apples are sourced from a couple towns over at Cedardale Farms. Berries and botanicals, and a few hops come from Skagit and Whatcom farms. Our beers range from PNW takes on traditional and historical styles, Belgian or Farmhouse styles to barrel-aged mixed fermentations.

Draft pour at WBF, Fisher Pavillion. Hazy golden appearance, lots of foam head. Grain forward nose, gritty, heavy. Flavor has splashes of tropical fruit, but the grain ultimately takes over. Intense cracker grains. This needs a little more balance for my taste. Alright, unique brew.

On tap pours out crisp clean copper color topped with a small fizzy head. Nose was crisp strawberries some tartness and a little seed. Taste is more of the nice tart and jammy strawberries.

Draft pour pint at Route 2 Taproom, Monroe. Cloudy golden orange pour, thin foam head. Strong wheat and stronger bubblegum. Cool, borderline minty taste. Soft orange zest on the aroma. Wheat late longer, and finishes smooth. Refreshing hefe overall I'd say. Light but very flavorful. Not bad.

Draft pour pint at Route 2 Taproom, Monroe. Clean and clear golden pour, almost no head, tons of active carb. Soft straw grain nose. Crisp taste, corn and hay, with a soft grassy note. Light bodied, watered down straw and corn finish. Hot day refresher for sure, but pretty plain as a brew overall. Not bad.

On tap at Flatstick Pub - Bellingham, pours a clear bright golden with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out bitter citrus zest, wood pine needles and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is full of bitter pine needles, citrus zest, and crisp biscuity malt. Very bitter and pine-needle-dominated. It's fine but far from a top tier west coast IPA.
