Brouwerij Halve Tamme is een Brabantse tweemans micro-brouwerij gespecialiseerd in het brouwen van ambachtelijk speciaalbier. De twee brouwers, waarvan de vriendschap teruggaat tot de peuterspeelzaal, hebben in de loop der jaren een passie ontwikkeld voor speciaalbier. Begin 2015 is besloten om naast het consumeren van bier het ook te gaan produceren. Met originele recepten en zoveel mogelijk ingrediënten uit eigen regio willen zij in eigen beheer interessante, smaakvolle en uitdagende bieren brouwen.

330ml bottle. Cloudy orange golden colour with average, firm, frothy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Slightly starchy, pale malty and minimally hoppy aroma. Taste is moderately bitter, minimally fruity hoppy, sweet-ish, pale malty basis, hints of peach, mandarine, a touch of orange peel.
Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and slightly dry palate, medium, dense, prickly to lively carbonation.
Rather simple, relatively hoppy OK.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Opaque black color, small off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, roasted malts, peppers / chillies, soft roasty bitterness but never harsh. Pretty nicely balanced I must say. Medium to full bodied, quite thick texture, moderate carbonation. Solid, very solid.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met opruimen van de voorraad. Het is een pikzwart bier en wijn volle bruine schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout en fruitige tonen. De smaak is vol, gebrande mout, rood fruit en chocolade.

Fles gedeeld met Keukenman. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een medium beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma ahornsiroop en houtige tonen. De smaak is vol, zoet, zacht, ahornsiroop, vijgen, vanille, hout en Bourbon.

Near opaque dark brown amber beer, vanishingly small tan head that lasts no time at all. Smooth palate, a little dry, decent fine carbonation. Malts bring ripe caramel and lesser dark toffee. Pruney rich ripe fruits, dates, touch of jammy apricot. The barrelling brings tangy bourbon soaked fruits and a suggestion of ripe red wine. Soft finish. Rich and ripe barleywine.

Vintage 2025. Opaque colour, steady small beige head. Toffeish, toasted malty aroma with touch of raisins. Medium-bodied. Sweetish, raisins, dates, good maltyness. Mellow sweet old school Barley Wine which may gain a bit from cellaring. Solid. My first one from this brewery, looking for more.
