On tap at Fountain, pours a lightly hazy dull blonde with a small white head. Aroma has a rather harsh hop character: there’s bitter pine, but also crunchy pot, and general citrusy abrasiveness. Flavour is a little smother, with pot-like hops, some pine, and bready malt. It’s not the smoothest hop expression. Chinook is one of my favourite hops: why use a cryo version of it? Good but not what it could be.

On tap at Fountain, pours a hazy dull pinkish amber with a small white head. Aroma has a nice melange of the cherries, wild yeast, and rustic saison yeast. Flavour is just fruity enough from the lovely Montmoremcy cherries without taking over the nice yeast profile. Fairly dry, yet fruity, rustic, and lightly buggy. Excellent.

Aroma is fairly laid back, with gentle citrus skins, a touch of grapefruity hops, and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is bright and bitter, with grapefruit peel, some tropical notes, and piney hops. Now this is the type of tropical IPA I like: fruity, dry, still bitter, no oats/chalk, great clarity. Very good.

On tap at Fountain, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma has some piney hops, light wood, and crusty bready malt. Flavour reveals piney hops, bready malt, and a touch of earthiness. Reasonably hopped and balanced, on the maltier side despite the lack of sugar. Decent.

On tap at Zeeks Pizza - Bellingham, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals a lightly estery, somewhat spicy saison yeast character, with a crisp biscuity malt underside. Flavour is lively, with a nice spicy saison yeast vibrance, minimal esters, and crackery malt. Spicy, rustic and clean body. Very good structure and competently made, especially for an American non-brett saison. Very good.

On tap at Zeeks Pizza - Bellingham, pours a mostly clear yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out oily piney hops, light dank, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is assertively hopped, with bright piney hops, gentle dankness, a touch of spiciness, and crisp crackery malt. Piney, spicy and clean, with good balance and drinkability. Excellent.
