On tap at Chuck’s CD, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma has dry roast upfront, with gentle earthiness, and a touch of dry cocoa powder. Flavour is more robust, with sturdy roasted malt, dark sugars, and some cocoa. Nice roastiness and general malt support to make this a pretty solid old school impie. Very good.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Bottleworks. Clean golden appearance, plenty of loose foam head. Nice aroma of mixed tropical and melon fruit. Lots of pineapple. Gentle bitterness grassy and juicy tropical up front, cool taste, refreshing constant. Pineapple flavors linger on. Really nice and unique west coast here.
