5.4/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 5 Texture 4 Overall 5.5
On tap at El Sueito, pours a minimally hazy bright golden with a small beige head. Aroma brings out some piney hops, some dankness, and dull cardboardy notes. Flavour is fairly bright and malty, with piney hops, resinous notes, and awkward sweet malt that just doesn't work. Weird balance and the hops don't shine properly. Not terrible but needs better calibration.

On tap at El Sueito, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma is very laid back, with toasted malt and a touch of bready malt. Flavour is dry and subtle, with toasted malt and some dry bready malt. Carb seems a bit high but the balance is fine. Nothing wrong here, just nothing very interesting.

6.9/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 6 Overall 7.5
On tap at El Sueito, pours a clear pale golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops, some dankness, and gentle resinous notes. Flavour is fairly dank for a pale ale, with some pot-like hops, plenty of dankness — not quite marijuana territory, and some pine. Aggressively hopped and nicely structured. Good.

On tap at El Sueito, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of orange peel, coriander and light wheat. Flavour is full of coriander upfront, with soft orange peel, and a straw-like wheatiness. Very soft palate. Lots of coriander on the finish. Decent.

On tap at El Sueito, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out straw and a touch of herbal notes - very mild. Flavour is likewise mild, with notes of straw, herbal notes, and grass. Herbal finish. Competent enough but nothing special… it's a Mexican lager after all.
