Bottle, directly from brewery. Color: Almost black, very light brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, cocoa, black coffee, Taste: Smooth, bit creamy mouthfeel. Roasted malt, dark black coffee, licorice root. Moderate to over moderate sweet, over moderate to medium bitterness. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Long lasting finish. Nice no nonsense bittery Imperial Stout.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Malty, yeasty, bit sugary and fruity, some marzipan. Taste: Yeasty, malty, bit grainy, herbal and marzipan hints and fruity hints of pear and a little stone fruit. Medium body, just under average carbonation. Nice complexity for a Tripel.

Bottle, directly from brewery. Color: Dark orange/brown amber, off-white head. Aroma: Floral, hoppy, citrus. Taste: Hoppy, citrus (lemon and some tangerine and orange(peel) notes, floral notes. Over moderate bitterness, going to medium at finish. Caramel malt. Another nice o e from this brewery. Medium body, average carbonation. Long lasting floral and bitter palate.

Sample from bottle at the brewery. Color: Dark ruby, beige head. Aroma: Dark malt, dark fruit, some red fruit notes. Taste: Over moderate to medium sweet. Floral hop notes. Some oak and boozy Whiskey notes (brewed with in Jameson Whiskey drenched wood chips) Moderate bitterness, going to over moderate / medium at finish. Some dark fruit and some caramel and subtle dark chocolate fudge notes. Roasted malt hints. Very nice.

Sample from bottle at the brewery. Edition 2020, 6.5%. Color: Hazy amber, white head. Aroma: Floral, hoppy. Taste: Floral hop forward. Malty background. Over moderate bitterness, light to moderate sweetness. Just over medium body, just under average carbonation. Nice.

Sample from bottle at the brewery. Color: Murky brown, beige head. Aroma: Coffee, dark malt. Taste: Malty, dark malt and some roasted malt notes. Notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Some notes of almond and vanilla hints. Vaguely tastes like it would be Bourbon BA. Over moderate bitterness, light to moderate sweetness. Very nice Bock, fortunately by far not as sweet as some 'commercial' examples of this style nowadays. This is a Bock I really like to drink.

Fles op vakantie geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een wat rode gloed en een beige schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige en fruitige geur. De smaak is vol, gebrande mout, koffie en gedroogd fruit met een wat kruidige afdronk.
